Our Story
There’s a particular kind of home that stays with you. You feel it in the weight of the blankets, the texture of the pillows, the way natural materials warm up a room without trying too hard. That feeling, that sense that someone cared about every single detail, is what we’ve spent twenty years putting into everything we make.
Paseo Road started in 2005 in Dallas, Texas. Jay and Cynthia, our founders, loved the warmth and character of Western interiors: layered textures, natural materials, the way a handmade quilt or a set of stoneware can quietly anchor a whole room. They wanted to make pieces with that kind of care and craft, at prices that respected the people buying them.
“We just wanted to make the rustic bedding we couldn’t find anywhere else. Something with real quality and real design, at a price that felt honest. Twenty years later, that’s still what gets us out of bed in the morning.”
— Cynthia, Co-Founder
Twenty years later, the next generation has joined the business. Jonathan, Elizabeth, and Melody are part of the team now. The designs are still original, still created in-house at our Dallas headquarters. What began at a kitchen table is now the leading name in rustic home textiles. It still runs like a family business, because it is one.
We choose materials that look beautiful on day one and hold up to the way people actually live. Cotton, linen, leather, canvas, stoneware. Every piece is designed to layer, to mix, and to get better over time. The hand feel, the weight, the finish — those details are where we spend our time, because those are the details you notice when you live with something.
Behind every collection is a team that genuinely cares about getting it right. Our designers, our operations crew, our customer service people — they’re the reason we can say “quality” and actually mean it. They’re the ones who catch the details, push back when something isn’t good enough, and make sure what ships out the door is something we’d put in our own homes.
