Matelassé creates its softly quilted look in the weave itself, raising Tempe's rhythmic geometric bands across 100% cotton fabric. Diamonds, stepped lines and fine horizontal ridges build quiet depth through the warm sand surface without print or stitched quilting. For comforter variants, polyester fill adds warmth and loft behind the cotton shell; duvet cover variants, the Euro sham and the swatch carry the same woven pattern without that fill.
