Great down comforter. It is very nice quality and warm for how light it is. It definitely wasn't as thick as I thought it would be but the quality of it is top notch and is made very well. It is very comfortable.
I'd previously owned a down duvet insert I loved and had for over a decade. So I was very specific as to what I wanted to replace it. A certain amount of goose down fill, baffle box design, cotton outer shell, king sized. I thought I'd have to spend 3-4X the cost of this duvet insert. I studied all of the reviews before purchasing. Immediately upon receiving, I put into the dryer to tumble dry no heat for 40 minutes to fluff. Then I laid it across my bed to air out. I love this duvet insert. Its incredibly warm -- perhaps too warm for those looking for an all season comforter. It's fine for me as I don't use my duvet during the summer months. I also like to sleep in a cold bedroom wrapped in warmth. I love the fluff with this duvet insert.
I just took it out of the bag in this photo..I'm sure it will fluff up a bit. It does seem to be much lighter and softer than my previous down comforter. It's pretty warm in my area right now so lighter is good. Seems to be good quality.
This is the best insert I have ever had. The one prior to this I had for about 15 years and this was the best replacement I have found. It's very lightweight but warm, my husband says it's a little too warm, but I think it's perfect. The fabric is soft and snuggly. I give this 5 stars.
