For a bed that drips with opulence, you can’t go wrong with our Stella Faux Silk Velvet Double Box Stitch Quilt Set. This lightweight velvet quilt set uses the same lustrous faux silk velvet fabric, made into a plush tapestry with classic double box stitch quilting that gives it depth and dimension. It’s great for warmer weather as a standalone layer or as an additional layer for chilly months. Luxurious but casual, this rustic quilt shines as the centerpiece for a chic cabin or modern rustic bedroom. Choose from a range of neutral and jewel-toned solid colors that complement various styles. Coordinate it with our Stella bedding sets, pillows, or shams for an elegant bedroom. Read why faux silk velvet is better than real silk velvet here.

We recommend dry cleaning Stella. Faux silk velvet is a delicate fabric, and its tailored seams deserve the same care you'd give fine apparel. A dry cleaner will keep both looking new for years.
If you prefer to care for it at home, be gentle: machine wash cold on the delicate cycle, by itself, with a mild detergent, and never use the dryer. Lay flat or hang to dry. Agitation is what stresses velvet, so the gentler the cycle, the longer Stella lasts.

The Fabric

Faux Silk Velvet

Some velvets sit. This one moves. Pile that catches light and holds shadow, color carried in depth, the weighted fall of a fabric with body. Faux silk velvet brings the character of real silk velvet — the reference behind centuries of drawing rooms — into a fabric built to be lived in. Substantial. Lustrous. Lasting.

    Luxury feel and washable

Luxury feel and machine washable, what could be better?! It is a quality throw, velvety feel, and warm. It's not heavy but not light, and it's in a high end home guest bedroom.

    Expensive? Yes. Quality? Also yes.

Yes, I believe these are overpriced and of course, the minute after I received them, they went on sale. If you're looking for a truly lux bedding experience though, these will make you happy. The velvet is incredible, the craftsmanship is superb. Sent lovingly each in its own bag, as they should be. Also discovered it's a small company, so there's that. The colors are rich and bold, the weight is medium. The shimmer of the velvet is 100 percent gorgeous.
